Seasonal

We are commited to using seasonal ingredients and therefore plan our courses around what is available during different times of the culinary year e.g. Game. We also have a wide range of courses that centre around themes like Chinese New Year, St Davids Day, Easter and Christmas. Our Christmas courses and demonstration days are a perfect for those who enjoy the festive period.  Please look at our Course Listings for details and book early to avoid disappointment.  These courses only come around once a year!

One and two day courses

Leave all your cares behind as you unleash your creative spirit, and immerse yourself completely into our world. Our courses are packed with culinary inspiration from start to finish; you wont believe how much you will achieve in just a day. We generally start at 10.00am (10.30am on Sundays) with a warm welcome and some refreshments.

Each class includes a short demonstration of some of the techniques you will use throughout the day. Everybody cooks his or her own feast to take home, lunch is usually prepared together and eaten at around 1.30pm. We include a complimentary wine tasting, profiling the wines produced at the vineyard. At the end of the day recipe packs are given out, and there is an opportunity to visit the farmhouse shop. This is such a great way to spend a day, and you can turn it into a fabulous weekend with one of our 2-day courses combined with accommodation at the Vineyard.

Taster courses- 2.5 hours

We have designed a range of short courses to build a range of skills over a period of time. These are ideal for people who want to learn the basics of cooking, brush up on skills, or just relax and create delicious food. They are repeated regularly throughout the year, so you could take them close together, or over a longer period of time. We have allocated 2 1⁄2 hours for each session, and they run either on an evening from 6.30pm–9.00pm, or an afternoon from 2.00pm–4.30pm. They are priced at just £50, and include tuition, ingredients and a recipe file.  Please note that we have a Christmas Festive Special Taster Course for £55.

Saturday Kitchen at Llanerch

A great way to start your weekend.  Join Angela and the team for an hour from 11am and get some great recipe ideas for entertaining family and friends.  All dishes are raffled, and recipes sent by email.  This event is £5 per person and must be booked in advance.  Lunch is available in the Bistro afterwards, and two dishes from the demonstration will feature on the menu.  Please book your place for this event through the cookery school, and for lunch directly with the Vineyard on 01443 222716.  £5 per person and advance booking is essential.

Monthly Lunch Club

Join us for a morning of culinary inspiration as we share some simple, but delicious recipes designed to invigorate your every day cooking.  We will look at what’s in season, profile some great local produce, and occasionally introduce a special guest.  All the dishes demonstrated are raffled, a two-course lunch is included, and recipes are sent via email.  This takes “let’s do lunch” to a whole new level! £30 per person, booking is essential.

Cookstart (10 years+, unless accompanied by an adult) 2.5 hours

At last! Get ready to be inspired as Angela launches a very exciting programme of courses aimed at young people. She is passionate about teaching these essential life skills that will form the basis of a very enjoyable future in the kitchen. Once again the ethos is all about skills, confidence, nutrition, seasonality and enjoyment. Learn under expert guidance, in great surroundings, and get a real taste of the culinary world, and who knows, we may even discover the next Jamie or Nigella! Sessions are themed and take 2 1⁄2 hours, they run regularly throughout the year, and are repeated. Please take a look at the course programme for details.

Cookstart in the holidays

These are special three day courses running during school holiday time. They are an extension of our regular “Cookstart” courses, but are a full day and are themed. Expect lots of cooking, tasting and fun, plus a great feast to take home. Check our course programme for full details, you’ll love it!
